The design of the Smooth Charts is meant to smooth out the Chaos on the screen we see when the markets are going up, down, up, etc. We took an average of the Open, High, Low, Last and plotted the results to see a smoother chart using a tick range chart.
Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Just like your regular Tick Range charts, but smoother.
You can see the difference on this chart below. We are showing both a Smooth 6 Tick Range Chart and regular 6 tick Range Chart on top of each other. They are close to the same, but CycleTrader Smooth Tick Range Chart is smoother.
How to trade Smooth Charts?
Pretty simple, when green, buy, when red sell. Follow other CycleTrader trend filters such as the direction of the 4 to 9 bar cycle count.
These charts are are really trend filters based on the math by itself.
Futures, Options on Futures and Forex trading involves a substantial degree of risk of loss and is not suitable for all individuals. An investor could lose the entire investment or, in some cases, more than the initial investment. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
