VMI Indicator Direction Turn

VMI Turn model -

The VMI (Volume Momentum Indicator) calculates the number of contracts bought at the offer verses the number of contracts sold at the bid during the given chart time frame. It displays the information similar to a cancel stick chart with an Open, High, Low and Last of the volume delta difference.  There is an average setting that is defaulted to 3. This takes the data and smooths it out by the average.

It is one of those indicators that shows true momentum and reversals at the time they are taking place.

How do you trade it?

There are a few ways to trade the VMI. If the VMI is positive, the market is generally moving in the same direction. When the volume starts to change, so is the market.

The VMI also display's support and resistance levels similar to a regular chart. It also shows divergence, cycles and consecutive close models.

The VMI may be one of the best indicators on the market today.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
